Tony Jones

Technical Manager

In his role at Finovia Tony provides technical advice and support incorporating investments, superannuation and strategic advice to assist the advisers in providing quality advice to clients. He is the chairman of the Finovia Investment Committee and also prepares actuarial certificates for private superannuation funds.

Tony spent 18 years working in various actuarial roles with National Mutual prior to its listing as AXA. He then joined Swanton & Davidson and worked as a Financial Adviser as it grew into the business that became part of Finovia in 2008.

Tony has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Actuarial Studies. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and a Certified Financial Planner.

Tony is actively involved in his local church, is a keen St Kilda supporter and enjoys a regular game of golf as he tries to improve on a handicap of 18.
