Finovia is a leading Australian privately owned strategic financial services consultancy for successful individuals.

We have the experience and technical expertise to deliver the highest standards of independent financial consulting advice.  We provide comprehensive strategic advisory services so our clients can make smart decisions that deliver long-term financial needs.

We actively develop relationships with corporate and individual clients based on personalised service, attention to detail and in depth knowledge.  Our advisers, accountants and technical specialists invest time to get to the heart of each client's objectives and uncertainty.

Philosophy

We deliver certainty

Our clients want financial outcomes, not products. We take the time to understand what is important about money to our clients and provide strategic advice addressing every aspect of their financial situation to maximise the probability of achieving their goals.

Our personal CFO approach delivers certainty in terms of control and cost. Our clients work with us as their trusted adviser coordinating workflow with multiple financial and professional service providers, avoiding conflicting recommendations or an undue focus on product sales or duplicated fees.

We are consultants, not product manufacturers or distributors. Our consultants and advisers are all salaried employees, so our advice is free from conflict of interest or institutional influence. Our fees are based on the complexity of each client’s situation.

History

Our financial journey

Finovia means "new financial journey" - a journey that began in the 1980s when many of the businesses which subsequently merged to form Finovia were established.  Merging to create one entity enabled us to access more investment opportunities for a growing high-profile client portfolio.

We are proud of our association with many of Australia's largest organisations over the past twenty years, working to improve the long-term financial outcomes four our clients.

Approach

Advice, not product

Long term relationships with our clients are built and maintained through a consultative process. We take the time to understand what is most important about money to our clients and we work with them to maximise the probability of achieving their financial objectives.

We comprehensively explore each person’s individual financial goals, identifying factors requiring attention and prioritising complex challenges, while at the same time learning about their personal values and ambitions.

By understanding each client’s financial situation as well as their responsibilities, relationships and interests, we identify the basis for a specific financial strategy, meeting clear objectives and working towards successful outcomes.

This process takes time and is continually refined over the years of our relationship. Our clients can focus on what is important to them in their lives, confident in knowing that Finovia is working as their personal CFO to grow and protect their assets and achieve their goals.

Our advice-based model means that fees are calculated on the complexity of each client’s situation.
