The Finovia name was coined in 2008, and is a new word meaning ‘New Financial Journey’.

The name articulates the value that Finovia brings to clients through the provision of leading strategic advice.

The firm’s history stretches back into the 1980s when many of the businesses who subsequently merged into Finovia were founded - for example Swanton & Davidson in Melbourne and Jarrott McCracken in Perth. Other leading businesses to merge into Finovia include Dickson Bonacci, Denholm Alcock, D&N Financial Planning, and Carolyn Fryer from Primeplan.  Each of these teams shares Finovia’s commitment to quality strategic advice and exemplary client service.

Consistent with our professional services heritage, Finovia is not aligned to particular financial institutions and our staff are all salaried employees.
